What is the Hook Model?
The Hook model is a behavioral design framework, it was created by Nir Eyal, an entrepreneur, author, and behavioral economist, and introduced in his book called “Hooked” in 2013. It is a tool used by companies to design and develop engaging products and services that create habit-forming behavior in their customers via a looping cycle that consists of the following four steps: a Trigger, an Action, a Variable Reward, and an ongoing Investment. This framework tries to explain why certain Products get Clients Hooked and why others don’t.
